ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Stef. I’m a technical director, educator, and project manager with over 20 years experience in designing, constructing, facilitating, and executing large-scale projects for the performing arts and live events. I have generated plans and managed diverse, cross-collaborative teams to transform work spaces, stage productions, and educational settings across 30 countries for clients such as Netflix, SXSW, Cirque du Soleil, Madrid Royal Opera House, and MIT.
I excel at finding creative solutions amid resource and budget constraints, and I am passionate about exploring and implementing sustainability in work and life spaces. I also believe in equitable access to opportunity in the arts and have a heart for teaching and sharing technical know-how with others.
Born in Costa Rica, raised in Spain, I have traveled the world in a never-ending quest to explore all the places, try all the food, and meet all the people. When I’m not building, fixing, or teaching, I’ll be looking for the next spot to scuba dive/kite-surf or off on an adventure with my scruffy dog, Cozmo.
