ibuildtheater.com was created in the summer of 2016 for an MFA thesis in Technical Production.  

The goal was to design and build a readily accessible (and free) website that hosts technical theatre content for use by community theatre groups that may lack the technical knowledge and/or resources to draft set pieces independently.

Footnote: The decision to spell ‘Theater’ with an -er was a deliberate one since “theater is the preferred spelling in American English” according to the grammarist.com. The objective is to indicate that the plans provided follow standard American Theatrical building practices.
